It was by way of fate and a serendipitous chance that I was introduced to "Our Lady of Fatima" while taking a morning walk to Farmer's Market yesterday. Who would know that at Our Lady was standing in a garden bowers of the neighbor's back yard? I was told by the homeowner that "Our Lady" was given to the New Bern recipient by the Notre Dame Catholic School in Greensboro, NC. I am not of the Catholic faith, but I felt a serenity come over me as I approached the image.
