This morning at the Site of the old Neuse Bridge

Dog walking over the lip of the hill that leads down to the River

This was rather an eerie scene at the site of the old Neuse Bridge located at the East end of Johnson Street.  The sun was absolutely streaming through a grove of trees and all the elements were there for a pictorial,  but I could sense that my camera and I were out of sync.  Then, this dog comes up and  slowly starts walking up the path that leads over the slope and down to the river.  He was walking slowly in a stream of sunshine and I just kept clicking away--then he disappeared over the lip of the slope.  This is the only photo that turned out anything at all.  All the elements were there.  I just couldn't get it.
