Drawn to Discovery

It recently occurred to me that John Washington, buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, might be related to me through my ggg-grandfather, Matthew Washington of Surry County, VA.

However, it looks like John Washington is descended from Lawrence Washington, of the Westmoreland County Washingtons.

My direct ancestor, Richard Washington, and Lawrence Washington were brothers, so the connection is distant.
