A Walk to Cedar Grove Cemetery

This past Sunday morning, I took a walk to Cedar Grove Cemetary.  Cedar Grove is just around the corner from where I live in the Historic District.  I knew when I saw a young man with a Marine buzz hair cut come to his door from his high rise, historic porch, that I was going to be questioned as to my camera and why I was taking photographs of flowers in his neighbor's yard.  I knew it and I was prepared with my very tame answers.  I am a photgrapher, that is all.  But, he seemed to think that I was from the Historic (Hysteric) Society, and that I was out to document some error of taste on his property.  People are so paranoid these days.  I think I handled it pretty well.

This scenario, of paranoia in the world of photography, is not that uncommon nowadays.

I do love this time of year, however. And, Queen Street is like Disney World when you have a zoom lens.

Very tame and innocent.
