Mindful, mindful---It feels to me so ironic that the sounds of the Pow Wow are more penetrating and impressive than the stunning visuals. I brought home about 1000 images on my memory cards. I cannot share here the audio sounds which are more compelling--RESPECTFUL! to the Spirit!
The Dance and the Dancer!.....
...and, the patient, dignified, measured gait of the female dancers is haunting to me.
I did not want to leave this event yesterday, but was forced to bring myself back to New Bern!
