Lawson's Landing Sidewalk Cafe Friday Night

I had a great time eating at Lawson's Landing on Friday night. The food was excellent and the view was exquisite looking out over the Trent River. The Trent River needs to get it's due in New Bern and so does Lawson's Landing. I loved the food and the wine. The only critique that I have was that once the sun set and the mosquitoes got bad I had to go inside to eat. The only view after that was of myself mirrored in the glass. The light is too high, they need some ambiance like other downtown nightime eateries. Otherwise, the staff was great, the food was great and the wine was just what I needed.    Open till 8:00 on Friday.
