Neuse - a Soul like a River

The Neuse River (named for the native Neusiok Indian Tribe) is to New Bern like the Sphinx is to Egypt.

I suppose there must be a better analogy than this out there somewhere, but I can't think of any.  For instance, you can't exactly say that the Neuse is like the Nile is to Egypt or like the Ganges is to India, because it isn't like either.
